The short version
We store your email so we can tell you when the Cosplay Puerto Rico platform opens. That's it. We don't sell, rent or share your information with anyone, and we won't flood your inbox.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we store:
- Your email: so we can reach you. It is the only required field.
- Your name, if you give it to us: so we can greet you as a person, not a number.
- Your social handle, town and role: all optional. They help us understand who's in the community and build the platform for you.
- The language and country you signed up from, as reported by Cloudflare.
We do not store your IP address, and we use no tracking cookies, no Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, nothing of the sort. This site does not follow you around the internet.
What we use it for
- Telling you when we open the platform.
- Occasionally sending important community news.
- Understanding, in aggregate, which towns and member types are represented, so we can prioritize what to build.
That's all. There are no hidden uses.
Where your information lives
In a Cloudflare D1 database inside the Cosplay Puerto Rico account. Cloudflare processes it on our behalf as our infrastructure provider. Only community administrators have access.
Your rights
Email us at hola@cosplaypr.com and at any time we can:
- Tell you exactly what we hold about you.
- Correct any of it.
- Delete you completely. No questions, no friction.
Minors
The cosplay community has a lot of young people in it, and we love that. But if you're under 13, please don't join the list without a responsible adult knowing and agreeing.
Changes
If we change anything significant in this policy, we'll update the date above and email you before it takes effect.
